The Dink Community has a lot of documentations to help you out, if you're playing and get a bug, if you want to create your own DMOD, etc.

The making of Mystery Island: an HTML doc which is, though never finished, very interesting.
As I'm working on Mystery Island, I translated this tutorial which was in the tutorial subdirectory of the island dir of Dink; it'll also be in FV in Mystery Island translation.
